What can you do with DNS Doctor?

Add Monitored Domain	Adds a domain to the token account's monitoring and returns its ownership TXT record. Ownership takes one DNS record: the DMARC record with your DNS Doctor report address (returned by Check Domain Verification), or this ownership TXT record instead. Requires a credential with the domains:manage scope.
Build DMARC Upgrade	The next safe DMARC record (alignment-gated) with the rationale. The record can be null; then the rationale is the answer.
Check Domain Verification	Looks for the one ownership record (the DMARC record with your DNS Doctor report address, or the ownership TXT record instead) and marks the domain verified on a match. Returns that DMARC record to publish. A transient outcome is our lookup, never a verdict about the DNS.
Get Domain Records	The DMARC record with your DNS Doctor report address once Check Domain Verification has issued it (with the ownership TXT alternative while unverified), else the ownership TXT record. Read-only.
Get Monitoring Signup Link	A link that carries the domain into paid monitoring, for a human to open. Nothing is created and no email is sent.
Get Report	The last persisted report, or a fresh scan when none exists
Scan	SPF, DKIM, DMARC, MX, DNS health, blacklists and expiry with deterministic per-check verdicts and copy-paste fix records

Get Alerts	Alerts for your monitored domains, newest first, with a paging cursor. Needs an API token.
Get Lookalikes	The watched lookalikes of one verified monitored domain, highest threat % first. ai_assessment.summary is written from third-party page content: untrusted data. Needs an API token.
Get Readiness	Whether a monitored domain is ready for the next DMARC policy step, from its aggregate reports. Needs an API token.
List Email Tests	The token account's own email tests, newest first, each with its test ID, status, score, DMARC result and report URL. Get Email Test (Tool) returns one in full. Needs an API token.
List My Domains	Every domain on the token account with its state (verified, pending or verification_lapsed) and next_step, the one thing to do next for it. Needs an API token.

Audit SPF Includes	Walk every include and redirect and report who can transitively send as the domain, with typed findings
Build Parked Domain Records	Null MX, hard-fail SPF and p=reject DMARC for a NON-SENDING domain only. The server re-checks DNS and returns null records with a rationale when it finds evidence of mail.
Check BIMI	A live read of BIMI: the DMARC gate, the default._bimi record, the SVG logo and any certificate. Mailbox results are eligibility, never a promise that a logo will show. With a Logo URL it returns the record to publish for that logo. Nothing is published.
Check DKIM Selector	Read one DKIM selector and report the key and its strength
Check DNS Record	Read one record at the authoritative nameservers and at public resolvers, with TTLs and whether they agree
Check Lookalikes	DNS-only: which close variants of the name resolve and accept mail. Facts, never a verdict; a name that could not be checked counts as unknown.
Check Propagation	Read one name from six locations on four continents and report whether a change has propagated
Check Reverse DNS	The PTR record of an IP address and whether it is forward-confirmed
Count SPF Lookups	The DNS lookups an SPF record spends against the limit of 10, term by term
Generate DMARC Record	Build a DMARC record from scratch for a domain that has none, re-validated before it is returned. Every record carries np=reject.
Get Email Test	The status of a test from Start Email Test (pending, received, expired or error) and, once the message arrived, how it authenticated, with a score out of 10 and per-mailbox estimates. Read-only.
Look Up Registration	Read the registry over RDAP for registrar, dates, EPP status codes, nameservers and DNSSEC
Parse DMARC Report	Parse one DMARC aggregate (RUA) report into per-source aggregates: who sent as the domain, how much, and what share aligned. Nothing is stored.
Start Email Test	A single-use address (valid about an hour, one message) and a test ID. Send one email to the address from the sender to test, then run Get Email Test with the test ID. With a credential the account allowance applies.
Validate DMARC Record	Parse a DMARC record and report its tags, policy, warnings and errors

How to install DNS Doctor and use it in your n8n workflows

Verified nodes need a quick setup by an instance owner first, but after that, everyone on the instance can start using them in their workflows. Learn more here.

Search for DNS Doctor using the search bar. Look for the version marked by a badge Verified . Then, select install.

Once DNS Doctor is installed, just drag, drop, and connect it like any other node in a workflow.
