GitHub and Microsoft Azure Monitor integration

Save yourself the work of writing custom integrations for GitHub and Microsoft Azure Monitor and use n8n instead. Build adaptable and scalable Development, workflows that work with your technology stack. All within a building experience you will love.

How to connect GitHub and Microsoft Azure Monitor

Create a new workflow and add the first step

In n8n, click the "Add workflow" button in the Workflows tab to create a new workflow. Add the starting point – a trigger on when your workflow should run: an app event, a schedule, a webhook call, another workflow, an AI chat, or a manual trigger. Sometimes, the HTTP Request node might already serve as your starting point.

GitHub and Microsoft Azure Monitor integration: Create a new workflow and add the first step

Back up your n8n workflows to Github

This workflow will backup your workflows to Github. It uses the public api to export all of the workflow data using the n8n node. It then loops over the data checks in Github to see if a file exists that uses the workflow name. Once checked it will then update the file on Github if it exists, Create a new file if it doesn't exist and if it's the same it will ignore the file. Config Options repo_owner - Github owner repo_name - Github repository name repo_path - Path within the Github repository >This workflow has been updated to use the n8n node and the code node so requires at least version 0.198.0 of n8n

Build your own GitHub and Microsoft Azure Monitor integration

Create custom GitHub and Microsoft Azure Monitor workflows by choosing triggers and actions. Nodes come with global operations and settings, as well as app-specific parameters that can be configured. You can also use the HTTP Request node to query data from any app or service with a REST API.
