What can you do with Tableau?

Get Token	Sign in and return the authentication token, site ID, and base URL. Use the output fields to build custom HTTP Request nodes that call Tableau REST API endpoints not yet supported by this node.
Sign Out	Invalidate the current authentication token on Tableau and clear the cached token so that the next Tableau node in this workflow re-authenticates.

Read Metadata	Returns all fields in a datasource with their captions, data types, roles, and aggregation defaults. Use this before querying to discover available field names.

Start using

How to install Tableau and use it in your n8n workflows

Verified nodes need a quick setup by an instance owner first, but after that, everyone on the instance can start using them in their workflows. Learn more here.

Sign in to n8n, open the editor, and click + in the top right to open the Nodes panel

Search for Tableau using the search bar. Look for the version marked by a badge Verified . Then, select install.

Once Tableau is installed, just drag, drop, and connect it like any other node in a workflow.
